     Materials: flash card,manila paper, colored paper, laptop and speaker

     Value: Enjoyment in doing the activity

III; Learning Experiences

     A. Preparatory Activities

          1. Drill

              * The students will sing an action song entitled "Walking -Walking".

                  "Walking, Walking 2x

                    hop-hop, hop-hop 2x

                    Running, running 2x

                    Now let's stop 2x

         From the action song they sing they are able to guess the topic.

  

       2. Review

          a. What is noun? Their last lesson.

       3. Motivation

             Select students to be ask if what they usually do at home.

      B. Developmental Activities

         1.) Presentation

                 Let them see some video clips in the laptop. In the video clips there are some people doing                   household chores, working and exercising.

        a. Look at the videos and ask some pupils to identify what type of action are in the video clips.

        b. Explain what is Verb.        

            Verb -a word used to describe an action, state, or occurrence, and forming the main part of the                      predicate of a sentence, such as hear, become, happen.

        c. Show them flashcards of different word of action and then they will act.

        d.  The words are: *walk   *run *drink   *crying    *laughing    *reading    *jumping  * eating                                           *hopping    *singing

       e. The students who answer will have a star.

    

      2.) Generalization

         What is verb?

     

     3.) Application 

          What is the importance of action word (verb) in your life?

      Answers must be: It tells us on what we do daily.

       

    C. Evaluation

         In a one whole sheet of paper, answer the following.

      

        a.) What did you usually do after you wake-up in the morning. List down at least 10.

    D. Assignment

         

        Make a poem with the use of verb or action word. Write at least four (2-4) stanza.
